As a board-certified Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner (APRN-BC), Shamekia Wells has made a career for over 18 years in helping others with advanced illnesses and promoting a holistic approach during their medical journey. She has earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Texas in Arlington and her master’s degree from Walden University with a concentration in Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nursing. Her clinical background is diverse and includes cardiothoracic, medical, surgical ICUs, interventional radiology, internal and palliative care medicine.

Shamekia developed a strong passion for the aesthetic industry after witnessing how simple aesthetic treatments can transform and empower a person’s confidence. She believes in the art of enhancing natural beauty along with a steady hand in science. She is passionate about aesthetic equity for all skin types and is dedicated to tailoring an individualized treatment plan for her clients. This innate belief inspired her to obtain certification in aesthetics from the National Laser Institute and continue to hone her aesthetic skills with advanced training with some of the most experienced aesthetic providers in the industry.
